The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They are organised into three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

2.1 Target Standard

The Site aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard widely recognised by regulators and institutions as the benchmark for accessible digital services. We use these guidelines as the reference point for our design decisions, development practices, and internal reviews.

2.2 Partial Conformance

We describe the Site as “partially conformant” with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partial conformance means that while we strive to meet the standard throughout, some content or functionality may not yet fully satisfy every success criterion. We are honest about this: accessibility is a continuous effort, and we prioritise remediation as issues are identified. We do not claim full or guaranteed compliance across every page, component, or third-party integration at all times.

To support and maintain accessibility, PWX takes the following measures on an ongoing basis:

• Inclusive design practices: considering accessibility in the design and content phases, including colour contrast, legible typography, clear focus indicators, and predictable navigation.
• Semantic, standards-based development: using semantic HTML, appropriate landmarks and headings, descriptive link text, alternative text for meaningful imagery, and ARIA only where native semantics are insufficient.
• Keyboard and assistive-technology support: ensuring interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, and testing key journeys with assistive technologies.
• Respecting user preferences: honouring reduced-motion settings and providing a visible skip link to the main content.
• Regular audits and improvements: conducting periodic automated and manual accessibility checks and incorporating fixes into our development cycle.

Because the Site evolves over time, we treat these measures as a living practice and revisit them as standards, tools, and our content change.

The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of widely used browsers and assistive technologies. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of your browser together with the latest version of any assistive technology you rely on.

Some older browsers, or unusual combinations of browser and assistive technology, may not fully support every feature of the Site. Where this occurs, we aim to provide accessible alternatives or to address the incompatibility as part of our ongoing improvement process.

Despite our best efforts, some limitations may remain. We are aware that accessibility challenges can arise in areas such as:

• Rich interactive visuals and animated backgrounds, which are presented as decorative and hidden from assistive technologies where they do not convey essential information.
• Content or functionality provided by third-party services, which may not be fully within our control.
• Documents or media published before our current accessibility practices were adopted, which we remediate on a prioritised basis.

6.2 Our Response

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five (5) business days and to provide a considered response as promptly as reasonably practicable. Where an issue requires remediation, we will prioritise it within our development cycle and, where helpful, offer an alternative means of accessing the information or service you need in the interim.

PWX assesses the accessibility of the Site through a combination of methods, including automated testing tools integrated into our development workflow, manual review of key user journeys, and testing with keyboard navigation and assistive technologies.

This statement reflects our current assessment and is reviewed periodically. The “Effective” date at the top of this page indicates when it was most recently updated. As the Site and applicable standards evolve, we will revise this statement to keep it accurate.
